June 12-13, 2010 Rockville, IN | Billie Creek Village welcomes Civil War Re-Enactors from all over the United States to participate in the annual Civil War Days. Each year, famous battles of the Civil War are fought throughout the village and farm lands over the two day event. On Sunday, June 14th, a public senatorial debate between Abraham Lincoln and Steven A. Douglas will be recreated just outside the Governor's house in Billie Creek Village.

July 9-11, 2010 Wauconda, IL | Almost an century and a half after the Civil War ended Union and Confederate troops fight at the Lake County Forest Preserve. The battle, which features about 500 reenactors, is part of the 19th annual Civil War days show. Cannons blast, rifles fire, and soldiers yell throughout the field.
